DOG-tober Fest is a celebration of dogs and their lovely owners. The event was first introduced in 2006, and Main Street is ready for our biggest and best yet!
Main Street is excited to partner this year with the Fire Museum of Texas and its Fire Prevention and Family Safety Festival.
Facts about DOG-tober Fest!
*When: Saturday, October 9, 2010
*Where: Big Fire Hydrant across from the Fire Museum of Texas in downtown Beaumont
*Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
*Admission: Is FREE! There are costs for food and certain activities,
such as the Pet SPAW and PAW- Readings!
*Activities: Include, “Strut Your Mutt” Parade, Pet SPAW, Bark-Art, PUP-ography, Blue’s Clues Moonwalk, PAW- Readings, the Barkery, many contests including a Master/Dog Look-A-Like Contest, and much, much more!
*Proceeds: Proceeds from this event benefit the continued revitalization
of Beaumont’s historic Central Business District through the efforts of Beaumont Main Street, a project of the 501 (c)(3) organization, BUILD, Inc.
